Outside of EY funding
The Hourly childminding rate is £5.00 an hour per child.
I would prefer bank transfers where possible. This is generally payable at the end of each week or the last day a child attends each week.
Fees are generally payable for contracted hours during periods of absence such as children’s holidays and illness, or if children are dropped late or picked up early; or where it is not possible to offer the space to others. (subject to individual arrangements).
I do not charge any additional fees or costs including for consumables such as nappies, food and drink, though I ask parents to supply lunch boxes and toiletries.
I prefer to be paid weekly at the end of each week when I send an invoice, generally by email.
I prefer to be paid by bank transfer if possible.
Attendance and payment details are recorded in my register and accounts books. I will ask for your signature.

Charging Policy
As a childminder, registered to offer Devon County Council’s Early Years Entitlement Funding (EYEF) I must have a 'charging policy' as part of meeting the Local Conditions of Funding.
The EYEF is a Government Scheme which pays for all 3 and 4 year olds to have a place with an approved provider. Children become eligible the term following their third birthday.
Two Year Old Funding is a Government Scheme which pays for some two year olds to have a part-time place with an approved provider. Children become eligible the term following their second birthday.
Child Born between Funding starts from
1st September & 31st December Spring Term (after Christmas hols)
1st January & 31st March Summer Term (after Easter hols)
1st April & 31st August Autumn Term (after Summer hols)
We are open all year for 52 weeks excluding Bank Holidays and weekends (subject to space availability).
All eligible children are entitled to 15/30 hours of free Early Years Entitlement per week for up to 38 weeks per year, during school term time (570hrs/1140hrs respectively per year in total). This can be split in the following ways:
A maximum of 30 hours a week used over a minimum of 3 days
A minimum of 2 ½ hours in 1 day
A maximum of 10 hours in 1 day
Funding can be 'stretched' through school holidays.
I am also able to accommodate Early Years Funding “all year round”. stretched offer option, of a maximum 11 hrs/21hrs per week over 52 weeks.
EYEF can be claimed with a maximum of 2 providers.
To claim EYEF / Two Year Old Funding parents/carers must complete a Children’s Information Form for each childcare provider used. This must include the code provided through Childcare Choices.
Parents/carers must provide a Birth Certificate, Passport, Child Benefit Book or other form of identity to confirm the child’s Date of Birth.
The Headcount Claim Form (which must be completed at the beginning of each term stating how many hours are being claimed).
By signing the Headcount Claim Form the parent/carer is committed to ensuring that their child attends. Parents must not knowingly register their child for hours they will not be attending regularly. If a child fails to attend on a regular basis (excluding illness and family holidays ect) funding may be returned to Devon County Council and these charges will be passed on to the parent/carer.
Funding will otherwise be retained by us during periods of the child absence (including illness and holidays) where it is not possible to offer the place to another child. Conversely if we are closed for our family holiday, Bank holiday or illness, I will not deduct those funded hours and roll them over to another time that term.
Fees will be payable for attendance outside the agreed funded hours.
No charges are made for the Funded hours but charges are made for any childcare hours over and above the basic entitlement hours at a rate of £5.00 an hour. I prefer these fees to be paid weekly by bank transfer if possible.
I do not charge for food and drink. Parents can also choose to provide their child with their own food and drink.
Contracts will be agreed and signed for each child attending, with payment requirements clearly stated.
Parents can check their eligibility for funded childcare through the Childcare Choices website.
